Saddle Stitching Color Booklets
We focus on providing high-quality printing services to meet various printing needs. We particularly recommend “saddle stitch binding,” which combines advanced printing technology and various processing techniques. This binding method has multiple advantages and is highly suitable for all kinds of books and publications. Saddle stitch binding is most appropriate for publications with fewer pages; for example, using the commonly used 128 GSM offset paper, it can typically accommodate 48 pages of content. This binding method is not only suitable for publications with fewer pages but also provides an ideal solution for printed materials that have too few pages to be bound with perfect binding.
The production cost of saddle-stitched color books is relatively more affordable compared to perfect bound hardcover options. At the same time, with advanced printing technology, we can present richer colors, making the printed materials more visually appealing. Our saddle-stitched books not only offer high cost-effectiveness but also provide various production solutions to meet urgent customer needs, allowing for quick delivery of finished products to satisfy urgent printing requirements.
Additionally, the covers and inner pages of the publications can be made with different paper thicknesses, and options for lamination, foil stamping, and other processes can be selected to further enhance the overall quality. This makes our printing services particularly suitable for color brochures, catalogs, magazines, and other thin publications.
In terms of design, saddle-stitched books offer a high degree of flexibility, allowing for the perfect presentation of various layout designs, including options for cover flaps or pocket designs. The finished product is lightweight and easy to carry, making it ideal for brochures, magazines, and other printed materials. Whether it’s a simple brochure or an exquisite product manual, saddle-stitched binding can handle both effectively.
The finished saddle-stitched products are not only easy to flip through, with smooth pages that are less likely to fall out, but they also exhibit excellent durability. Even with frequent handling, the products remain intact, with neatly arranged pages that are both aesthetically pleasing and practical. This makes saddle-stitched binding a top choice for many customers.

– Due to structural issues with the product, when the page count is high, the spine may have a bulging issue. If a flat appearance is needed, we recommend switching to perfect binding.
-If the provided documents do not specify page numbers, clear and detailed layout instructions must be provided. If not, our company will arrange the layout in the specific order of left to right and top to bottom based on the documents you provide.
-If clients provide AI-based PDF files, please layout in single-page format (excluding the front and back covers). If there are personnel with professional knowledge of perfect binding layout, they may arrange it using the imposition method. However, it is essential to communicate well with our technical staff beforehand. If no such professionals are available, single-page layout is strongly recommended.
-Due to the saddle-stitch binding structure, part of the inner pages will be trimmed. The impact is more pronounced with a higher page count. Therefore, it is highly recommended to leave sufficient space for the trim based on the actual thickness.
-Delivery standards will employ standard double-wall corrugated packaging. If clients have special packaging requirements, they are kindly requested to notify our staff before placing the order.
-When the paper is too thin, curling may occur during lamination. Therefore, it is recommended to use 128gsm or lighter for coated paper, and not to arrange lamination for paper over 157gsm.
-Due to the different characteristics of individual papers, such as woodfree paper, kraft paper, novel paper, newsprint, or various specialty papers, colors may vary significantly during normal printing owing to ink absorption characteristics or the original color of the paper not being pure white. If you have specific color requirements, please have a thorough discussion with our customer service team before placing the order for special arrangements.
