Perfect Binding Digital Booklets
Perfect binding is a method that uses glue to adhere the pages at the spine, making it suitable for publications with a higher page count, typically 32 pages or more. This binding method results in a flat and durable appearance, and when combined with digital printing technology, it allows for the rapid production of small batches of publications. It is ideal for detailed product introductions, portfolios, graduation yearbooks, and other documents that require long-term preservation and a professional appearance. Various paper options for the cover and inner pages can be selected based on needs, and additional finishes such as lamination and hot stamping can enhance the texture and durability of the publication.

If the provided document does not specify page numbers, clear layout instructions must be given. If not provided, our company will arrange the layout in the order from left to right and top to bottom based on the document you provide.
If customers provide AI or PDF files, please arrange them in a single-page format (excluding the front and back covers). If there are production personnel with relevant professional knowledge of plastic-bound book layouts, they may arrange the layout using the imposition method for each section, but this must be communicated with our technical staff in advance. If no professional personnel are available, it is recommended to use the single-page method.
Due to the structural issues of plastic-bound books, they cannot be fully opened. Therefore, space should be reserved near the spine to avoid content being obscured during binding. The content on the two pages connected to the front and back covers will require larger margins.

# If the content provided by the customer in the manuscript contains any unauthorized content, unapproved logos, obscene or other illegal words and slogans, our company shall not be held responsible for all legal responsibilities.
# Customers can utilize the company’s design andDraftingservices. We also provide simple artwork file processing services, such as adding bleed and corner lines, creating solid color blocks, adjusting proportions, drawing cut lines, and changing names on business cards. Please feel free to inquire with our customer service staff. These services are separate from formal design work.
# If the customer uses our company’s delivery service, please arrange for delivery on the next delivery day of the region after the basic delivery days. (Details can be inquired about the pick-up and delivery arrangements.)
# For QR codes or barcodes included in the materials, the company cannot guarantee readability. If special handling is required, please contact our customer service team.
# All inkjet paintings will be delivered in rolls as standard (except for those over 2m in length or in special circumstances).
# Different materials have different base colors (even white can vary). If customers have specific color requirements for the materials, please notify us before placing an order.
# The color mode should be “CMYK” and the file size should be the original size (1:1). Generally, bleed and crop marks must be made.
# The artwork file should be created in vector format using specialized typesetting software like AI and CDR. Text should be converted to “outline”, and linked images must be provided with correct file names.
# Photoshop is mainly for image editing, not typesetting. Due to printing technology, raster images (like JPG, TIF, PSD, etc.) should not be used directly, as fine text or lines may not appear correctly.
# Direct printing using word processing software may affect the printing effect in different situations. If necessary, please convert to PDF format to minimize potential issues.
# If using pdf format files, please make sure the file meets printing standards before generating it.
# Supported printing file formats are compatible with both Mac and Windows, but using the Windows version is recommended.
# Each side of the submission should have a bleed area of 3mm and standard corner lines, while the content should ideally be at least 3mm away from the edges to avoid cutting issues. If the submitted file does not include bleed, the company may suggest resizing the final product dimensions based on actual conditions.
# It is not recommended to use system fonts like “細明字” (MingLiU) or “標楷體” (BiauKai), as they may cause white nodes at stroke intersections.
# To avoid line breaks, if using thin fonts, please set the color dots to 50% or above.
# Customers can choose to deliver files directly on a CD or via email (for files no larger than 5MB). For larger files, please use FTP. When uploading files, be aware that firewalls may affect the process; consider opening port 21. If the file size is too large, it is advisable to compress the file (ZIP or RAR for PC, SIT for Mac) before submission.
# If you need to retain submitted files, inform our customer service team; otherwise, the company generally will not retain them.
# Submitted materials must meet standard printing specifications. If you are unfamiliar with these requirements, it is recommended to seek assistance from a professional or use the company’s design services.
# Individual processing may affect the content of the image. Please pay attention when designing and preparing the artwork.
# Due to the variations in printing methods and various objective factors, a color deviation of 5-10% during production is regarded as normal. If customers need specific color matching, please inform our customer service team before placing an order for further processing.
# Different types of paper, such as woodfree paper, conqueror paper, newsprint, and various specialty papers, may show significant color differences when printed. This is because of the characteristics of the ink and the fact that the inherent color of the paper is not pure white. If you have specific color requirements, please discuss them with our customer service team before placing your order for special arrangements.
# Colors displayed on screens (RGB) should not be relied upon; standard four-color process swatches should be used as a reference.
# Normal four-color printing files should not use Pantone colors. If Pantone color printing is required, please contact our customer service department separately.
# Since paper cannot withstand excessive ink coverage, it is not recommended to use 100% black (C, M, Y, K values each at 100%) in submitted materials. Generally, providing a single-color black is sufficient.
